Flying aerobatics in San Diego.

To start the 2010 aerobatic flying season, Team SDAX hit up the 2010 Hammerhead Roundup in Borrego Springs, CA. Congrats to aerobatic pilots Jerb Johnson for 4th place and Eamonn Powers for the silver. Thanks to all our sponsors!
The guys from Consuul came to try on some parachutes and wound up doing the most extreme aerobatic thrill ride we offer. They seemed to like the flying.
Joze Deza came to fly aerobatics over San Diego with our lead aerobatic pilot. He may have lost his lunch but he kept asking for more.
Rob Sonsini came along for an aerobatic flight (thrill ride set to music) over San Diego with our lead pilot. His smile during the loops, rolls, G's and inverted flight says it all!
Having some fun flying loops, rolls, hammerheads, etc. in the Super D over San Diego.

About: The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world's best pilots in a motorsports competition based on speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, Red Bull Air Race pilots navigate a low-level aerial race track made up of air filled pylons, flying at speeds reaching 230mph while withstanding forces of up to 10g. The objective is to complete the course, navigating the 65 feet high specially designed inflatable pylons known as Air Gates in the fastest possible time. Red Bull Air Race pilots must pass between the Air Gates in the correct position taking care not to touch them with their wings. The pilots compete for points at each Red Bull Air Race and the one who accumulates the most at the end of the season is crowned Red Bull Air Race World Champion.

The final race, the final season so the final chance to be Red Bull Air Race World Champion for the leading contenders. Two other pilots Mike Goulian and Ben Murphy could also come into contention only if the top three hit trouble. The home crowd has its clear favourite but Chiba’s changeable conditions mean nothing is guaranteed except drama of the highest quality.
